Notes From The Dark Side

There goes Bobby Jon,Jamie and now..Gary!!Do you realize what these 3 survivors have in common?Yes,their physical strength,which cannot be matched by any others in the camp,yet it couldn’t save them from being booted.The main culprit?It was non other than our unsung hero today,Rafe.He may look weak,soft spoken and he is even a gay,but that has not stop him from winning 3 immunity.Yes its 3,not one,not two,but 3 in a row!Even himself can’t believe it,is it down to pure luck?No i don’t think so..I have observed 4 points in him that made him such a great competitor,first,he is very calm,he never panicked when what he is doing is working his way.Second,he is very concentrated,he never cares about how others is moving,just concentrate on finishing what he is doing.Third,he utilise his intelligence to the fullest,he is a thinking player,not just a pure force.Last but not least,his fighting spirit,gave everything he has from start till the end.Bobby ran him close,so did Jamie and Gary fought with him neck to neck in the challenge,but all end being ousted.Who is next?I won’t be surprised if he win it again next week.

Yes Jeff Probst is right in what he say,"No one is going to bow out without giving a fight".We saw Gary,fighting desperately,even forced to use his secret weapon,unveiling the lie of Judd,but its way too late when he do that..If he did unveil the lie earlier in the camp,and start a campaign against Judd,he might still have hope,definitely not in the Tribal Council,where everyone has already made their decision.This is only the first mistake he made.I still believe he is one of the most clever guy in terms of strategy,but i can’t believe he voted for Cindy,it was a big blunder for him.Cindy is one of the most stable member there and there is no way his plan will work.But Danii voted for him ? Thats even more shocking,but it does make sense,she expect Gary to be off so she has to start her back up plan,find a new alliance,and the first move is to stab Gary at the back.

A time bomb,sleeping volcano or even a weak student hit back after constant bullying and teasing,that is what Lydia reminds me off…After being a card or piece of chess used by anyone,she finally hit back,that is what i wanted to see from  her,proved that she is here to win the one million dolar.But the way she hit back,accusing Stephanie for being the big boss there? It was a nice move,but way too early,this may prompt the cunning Stephanie to wield her axe and cut off her head,and the fact is Steph never failed,every plot written by her never fail to materialize,so Lydia is up against the mastermind of the game,can she survive the onslaught?I don’t think so,she doesn’t have the power and influence to do that,I would predict she turn into a prey rather than predator.

Lydia is in danger with her sudden outburst,Judd might pay the price and still accuse others for lying,Danii is the only outsider in the camp,every single of them have equal chance to go home next week…sounds familiar?Yes the only way for them to survive is to form their own axis against the dominating three,Stephanie,Cindy and Rafe…so I fancy a tie in the tribal council next week,3-3,unless they can convince Rafe to join them to make it 4-2,which is highly unlikely because the obvious strategy of Rafe now is to stick with his starting alliance of Steph and Cindy till the end…It would be a thrilling encounter next week,no one is safe except Rafe…Again!

Despite all the tension there is some funny side in the camp too,can’t believe Cindy is that addicted to coffee,and Jamie joke together with Bobby Jon in the jury’s bench,now who said foes can’t change to friends?

Bags thrown,shouting and screaming in joy everywhere,celebration like its the end of the world,it can be seen everywhere in schools today,yes…STPM is finally over.But we are not talking about just the exam alone,more than one and a half year of effort,sleepless nights,tons of pressure and struggling,it has all passed,welcoming a whole new life of relaxation and enjoyment.We cannot possibly imagine how relieved the STPM students when they passed the final second of their final paper,even better than releasing enormous stones from their shoulder.

I would personally like to congratulate every single form 6 students for reaching the finishing line after so much of workmanlike effort.Yes I was a form 6 students before,for 2 months,it was tough,believe me studying in it is not easy,more like hell than heaven,every second cannot be missed,almost the entire time dedicated to works and study.Yet,they made it,they managed to take on all the challenge and successfully finish it,regarded as their toughest challenge in their life.I salute everyone of them,for being such warriors,with burning fighting spirit,never say die attitude,no matter what the final outcome is,the only thing is I am sure that they can stand tall,proud of themselves,and say out "yes,I have just conquered it!!"

Although I am not there to witness it,to all friends who are in it,just want to tell you that I am really proud of you all.You went through a lot,true friendship formed and character toughly tested,but you show true grit and you deserved the reward you get.Its the end of a long journey,but just a start for a longer route in life,sincerely wish you good luck and all the best…

Does evil spirit really exist in this world? Or does science has explanation for everything is this world? Till now no one can answer this question,but there is a perfect example of the conflict between these two factors,the case of Emily Rose’s death.Yes,I am talking about the recent movie,The Exorcism of Emily Rose.I do not really rate is as a horror movie,yes it might give that kind of impression,but its more like a war of fact,battle between good and evil than a typical horror movie,and most importantly,it won’t really scare your heart out,so its a suitable movie for everyone.

In the story,father Moore,who performed an exorcism on a girl named Emily Rose,failed miserably and the girl is dead not long after the exorcism.He is prosecuted in the court for indirectly causing the girl’s dead,which spur an intense court battle between two lawyers.The defendant,Erin is a non-believer of ghost existence.Language of Christ,two voices coming out from a person at a time,eating bugs and hurting herself,are those symptoms of being possessed or just pure psychotic? Different people have different opinion,but spiritual talk definitely cannot be accepted by the court,not to mention the skeptical public.Causing the priest to be judged guilty at the end.

But fortunately,he was just sentenced for social service,which I think is a fair judgment as both side can’t prove convincingly that they have the right stand.But if it was me,I will stand at the side of the defendant,because of his big heart,his will to help and his love for the girl,it was impossible to find any reason that he had intentionally caused the girl’s dead.His family permitted it,the girl say yes to it,and he risked his life to save her from evil spirit,there is not a single reason that we can blame him for her death.In fact we can blame nothing,except the tough luck and harsh reality that she faced,what a pity for an innocent girl with great enthusiasm towards life.

If what father Moore say is true after all,all of us have to salute and give a standing ovation for this little girl.She could have chosen to accept the offer from Virgin Mary to leave this world and follow her,or she could stay in this world,continue to suffer and give a perfect example to this world that evil spirit does exist.She sacrificed herself and chose the latter,which is the main reason why we are watching this movie now!!If she is listening,I just wish to tell her that yes,your effort is appreciated,this movie does give a lot of inspiration to us and teach us a lot…

Whether evil spirit exist in this world or not,I just have a sincere advice for everyone….Watch Your Back!!

I wonder there are how many Survivor fans like me,who never tried desperately to catch every single episode of it since the first season,it was my all time favorite TV show.Here is my first blog on this TV show,about the episode last night,for all Survivor lovers,hope you will like it.

Who is lying and who is telling the truth ?That’s the first issue that come into play,in this game we never know who will stab us in the back,or who do trust as well.Jamie brought up the issue and due to his paranoid attitude,he got himself killed,a silly move.All credit to Gary who managed to produce miracle and show up with a surprise finding of the immunity idol.That’s the turning point,and he is clever not to create controversy by revealing the lie of Judd,which successfully kept their friendship,good decision,way to go!!

Its a game which the strong survive and the weak get eliminated.Yes I am referring to Lydia,the weakest survivor left,she seems so helpless and allowed others to use her as one of their chess piece,even failing miserably in the reward challenge,causing their group to lose a precious reward.Is she too short to walk in the mud,or 2 weeks of tough time there has finally taken toll on her,how long can she stand,those are questions remain to be answered.But as long as she continue to act dumb and be a part of others evil plan,she won’t be the next to go.Her hesitation cause the downfall of one of her closest pal,Jamie,leaving her more vulnerable now,can be disposed anywhere,anytime.

Love from family can melt a Warrior’s heart. Family support definitely played a big part in the quest of a survivor,look how fresh Gary is after looking at the video of his family,that’s a perfect example.They wouldn’t trade the precious video for any other reward definitely.Danii,prefer watching her dogs instead of her family?That’s kind of strange though…

The favorites now surprisingly are not the strongest competitor,instead is a group I brand them as "silent killer".Comprising Stephanie,Cindy and Rafe.Look at Rafe,he does not have the best physical ability but till now he already won 2 immunity challenge,that’s all down to his calm mentality and ability to use his mind and keep his cool when it matter the most,surely one of those to watch out.Stephanie is one girl that will be able to manipulate her game and decide the outcome of every tribal council,she seems know what exactly her plan is and never failed in attempt to get anyone booted,the only person who perhaps have the chance to outwit her is Gary,but he is out of support,so I expect her to go far,along with Cindy,who is my favorite Survivor and proved that she is more than a cute face.

When we talked about being sporting,Jamie is definitely out of the list.The way he screw things off and all the taunting to his tribe mates after got voted out is not sporting at all!! He should take a close look at himself and sooner and later he will realize that he got voted out because of his own fault,instead of blaming others.

Survivor is just like our real life,we can never trust everyone completely in our life,we can choose to be a good and honest person but end getting screwed,we can choose to be as bad and cunning as possible but still end up on the winning side,it all depends on how we play the game of our life and of course the vital factor,LUCK..

I just won some Universal Music Albums from a competition by a particular magazine,so after listening to them I decided to write a brief review about them.Its quite amazing actually for me to get the prize because I didn’t always enjoy the best of luck in my life,in fact I never get any prize in any lucky draw in my entire life!!Maybe its the beginning of a change of luck,here is the review:

Blink 182(Take Off Your Pants and Jacket)

What an odd name for the album,probably is the rock band’s earlier album.Its not really the type of rock band that I fancy,and certainly not songs that I would enjoy listening to for the whole day.There is some notable songs in it,such as "The anthem part two" and "The rock show".With the group going to release their "Best of…" album soon,I expect a much better album from them.Overall,its fun to listen but not really impressive.(Rating:B)

Natalie(Natalie)

Not bad for a debut album by a young new artist,her first single "Going Crazy"  caught the attention of the world that on her talent and melodious voice.But its disappointing that besides this song and its Spanish version,there is not much catchy songs as all other songs are too ordinary.She need to do more to prove to the world that she is not just another cute faced artist.(Rating:B-)

Puddle Of Mudd(Come Clean)

Frankly I don’t see anything special about this album besides its unique cover,a cover that shows a little kid instead of the face of the band,its a rock band,would you be able to guess it from the cover?Hell no…The first single "control" is one of the theme song for WWE wrestling program,so you would expect a lot of shouting in it,not that kind of rock songs that I like,its hurting my ears in fact.But for fans of hard rock,its an album to catch.(Rating:C)

The Faders(Plug In + Play)

This band come out of no where and burst into scene with immediate success.Finally we have a girl band who really rocks!!Full credit to them,all the songs are played to perfection,especially the background music,"No Sleep Tonight","Jump" and " Whatever it takes" are just a few example of the great songs in the album,its not easy to be bored by listening to the album over and over again.It would be interesting to see if the can keep on their good form in their next album.Well done girls.(Rating:A-)

Various Artists(The Longest Yard Soundtrack)

This movie is a real fun to watch,funny and touching,and the soundtracks aren’t too bad either.Featuring the world’s best rapper like Nelly,Eminem and Akon,its a perfect album for those who love rap music.Adam Sandler and Chris Rock may make you laugh non stop,but this album too,is equally entertaining.(Rating:B+)

98 Degrees (This Christmas)

98 degrees might have separated and Jeff Timmons might have gone solo,but we can’t deny that the band have produced some melodious songs previously,including this album.Christmas is coming near,so its the perfect time for me to get this album.Songs like "The Gift" and other catchy tunes will definitely warm up a cold Christmas eve night.Merry Christmas everyone!!(Rating:B)

Hi everyone,its a totally fresh start for someone like me who knows nothing about a blog and never written any.But since holiday is quite boring,there is no reason why I shouldn’t start one…However,it would be quite sluggish start for me so hopefully anyone who read this blog wouldn’t mind and will be able to post your comment,especially on how I am going to improve on my blog.                     

"Notes from the dark side" is something I wish could express my real self,something about myself that people can’t notice in my daily life,so that you all can know much more about me,the much "darker" side about me as well.

It has been a year which will leave lots of memory for me,a lot of ups and downs,and I finally turned 19 few days ago!!So there is a lot to look ahead in the future,thanks for all the sincere wishes from all my friends,I sure do enjoy my birthday..

Turning 19 doesn’t mean that I am getting older and more mature,no,not at all.Age doesn’t reflect the truth personality of a person.The only thing I can guarantee is I will keep growing up everyday,not only in terms of physical,but also mental and personality,always trying to do the best!

Thanks for all my friends and family who supported me all the way since I know you all,November 17th 12.40 a.m.,this is the time I stamp my mark on my first blog and hopefully there is more to come,happy holiday everyone!!
